Grange St. Pauls Hotel & Spa
This hotel group has become my favourite for hotels in London, when they say 5 star they really do mean 5 star. This hotel is located less than a 5 minute walk from St. Pauls underground station and practically overlooks St. Pauls Cathedral.
When you first walk into the hotel reception, the lobby is so impressive that you really do need a minute to really take it all in. The central atrium has a glass roof which lets in natural light and is filled with oversized sofa's.
For dinner we went to the Benihana restaurant located right inside the hotel. The show cooking was so much fun to watch and the food was amazing.
Our room rate included included full english breakfast which is served on the 1st floor in the Novello restaurant. It included the usual cooked breakfast spread with a lot of cold options including cereal and cold meats.
I was really looking forward to going up to the rooftop lounge and luckily it had not been booked for private hire. The views were amazing, from St. Pauls Cathedral on the left and the Shard to the right.

All the rooms have king-sized beds which are incredibly comfortable and have a small seating area with a wall mounted TV. The bathroom's are compact but still have that luxury feel, with rain shower, seperate bath and heated mirror.
What first attracted me to Grange 5* hotels is that they all feature spa's with swimming pools, the spa here absolutely did not disappoint. We upgraded to club service which meant we could check in at 11am, the spa was gloriously empty and we almost had the entire pool and jacuzzi to ourselves. Along one side of the pool they have a steam room, sauna room, larconium and a hammam which was unfortunately booked for private use.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hotel in London, they have a few locations in London & the City
