Review: Miracle Hotel Antalya

Sunday, March 10, 2019
I had wanted to go to Antalya for ages and we finally managed to go last September and stayed at the gorgeous Miracle Resort in the Lara Beach area, booked through Jet2 of course.

The Hotel
Even from the front this hotel looked impressive, the spacious reception and lounge area looked straight out onto the pool and beach. There is a bar at the far end with an outdoor terrace views of the pool and sea. The grounds were a immaculate with a cute little stream running alongside the Lagos outdoor restaurant

There was one big pool that never felt over crowded although the sun lounger situation was a bit tricky if you got to the pool after midday, with loads of people 'reserving' loungers from the early hours of the morning.

The beach was a little bit dirty from people just dropping their litter onto the sand and in the water which was a shame because it was a really nice beach with a pier for sunbathing and diving.

The Room
I was really impressed with the room, it was much larger than I had expected with a side view of the pool and sea. The bed situation was a little bit odd, we ended up with a double bed and a single bed pushed together, each with their own duvet, but we made it work. The complimentary mini-bar was a nice touch and it was re-filled everyday.

The Food
I am always a little wary of food when doing an all inclusive holiday however we were not disappointed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served in the buffet restaurant, which even at its busiest still had enough tables and food to go around. Sometimes the table service was a little bit slow but staff were always friendly and happy to help. They also served a 'midnight snack' here, from midnight until the early hours of the morning if you get a bit hungry in the night like I do.

For lunch you also had the option of the pide restaurant on the other side of the pool which served great Turkish pizza's. The kebab house and pool bar are also open for lunch so you were really spoilt for choice. The snack bar next to the pide restaurant served ice cream and gözleme, I had never had these before but by the end of the holiday we were addicted.

The hotel also has 4 a la carte restaurants for 10 per person, we decided to try the Italian restaurant. We were served 4 courses and the food was just as nice as everywhere else in the hotel

Private Cabana
For me the best part of our entire stay and something I would recommend to anybody who stays here is the private cabana's. For €40 you can book a private cabana overlooking the water, with drink and food service included. As it was pretty quiet on the day we booked we pretty much had our pick and chose one closest to the water. It's probably the most relaxing way to spend the day by the sea and I only wish we had done it more than once.

Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the Lara Beach area without spending a fortune. Feel free to drop me a comment with any questions.
