Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway Bay
Luxury Bahia Principe is an all-inclusive resort in Runaway Bay on the north coast of Jamaica, 20 minutes away from the town centre of Ocho Rios. This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel but the first time since its been extended. I loved the hotel before but I might love it even more now. The adults only section of the hotel has its own entrance and reception area complete with late night bar which looks just as impressive as the rest of the hotel.
The new adults only pool is almost double its original size with a new swim up bar and two jacuzzi tubs. There are plenty of sun loungers so you'll always able to find one no matter what time you get to the pool. The adults only beach is literally my favourite part of this hotel, since its man made it's quite shallow so you can actually sit back in the ocean and sunbathe. If you like swiming in the sea the beach on the other side of the resort is much deeper.
You will literally be spoilt for choice when it comes to food, beside the large buffet restaurant there are 7 al a carte restaurants including Italian, Brazilian and Japanese. All the restaurants are included in the all inclusive price and have a formal dress code (long trousers for men), all you need to do is make a reservation. The buffet has a different theme every night with 3 different grill stations where you can get freshly cooked pasta and meat and omelette stations every morning.
The hotel provides entertainment throughout the day including aqua aerobics, karoke, film screenings, basketball tournaments, live performances and a late night disco. On the other side of the resort is the Pueblo Principe which is the place to be in the evenings with live shows, sports bar, gift shops and the late night disco. The performances are different every night so there really is something for everyone.
The rooms have always been one of my favourite things about this hotel and that has not changed. The rooms are spacious and airy with king-size canopy beds, mini-bar with complimentary refreshments and separate seating area. The bathroom has twin sinks with separate bath and rainfall shower.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing all inclusive break in the Caribbean.
